What is Graystone Gives?

Graystone Mortgage was founded in Salt Lake City in the late 1990’s. We are defined as a mortgage banker who works on processing, underwriting and funding loans. Our mission statement is H.O.M.E which stands for Honor, Own, Motivated and Experience. Graystone Mortgage is a company that cares. That is why we founded the #GraystoneGives program. Graystone Gives focuses on giving back to the community that has helped us with our success. Each month, we pick a different organization to donate a portion of proceeds from each loan closed that month. We donate to a variety of causes like the Huntsman Cancer Institute and the Project Success Coalition. Beyond our monthly donations, Graystone Gives includes our employees who generously donate or volunteer themselves at a variety of charities as well.

Graystone Mortgage has been serving communities since we started in 1997. We know that without our community, we would not be here today. That is why we want to give back to the communities that help our business. Each month, we pick a local and current issue to give back to. We fund our donations through a portion of each loan closed that month. We know money does not grow on trees. Organizations and individuals need help, even if it is not in the form of a loan. On our website, you can see the foundation we donate to each month. The first three months of 2021 have been dedicated to the Utah Food Banks, Project success Coalition and Conservation Garden Park.

A great company is made with great employees. Our employees also participate individually by volunteering each quarter. Our employees have been involved by donating or volunteering their time to local charities big or small. Some causes our employees have participated in are “Help Feed the Homeless”, “Utah Diaper Drive” and the “Ronald McDonald House”. To see all the projects Graystone Gives is involved in, find out on our website.

Graystone Mortgage loves to give back and that is why we founded #GraystoneGives. Martin Luther King Jr. said,  “Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, What are you doing for others?”. We take this to heart as we try to serve the communities around us. We hope we can help you with any financial services but if not, we are just happy to serve those around us. If you know of any foundations or organizations who need help, please contact us.
